Thinking of relocating to TX. My job can transfer to Irving, my husband can transfer to Waco, TX. Is it possible to live in the middle? If so, where? Thanks!Where to live if one spouse works in Waco, TX and the other in Irving, TX?
The Commute for that would be insane. Not to mention the traffic both would incur just trying to get to work. The gas that would take would be substantial. It is completely possible, but it will be a very difficult experience. The only cities somewhat between dallas and waco that I can think of that are somewhat big would be Waxahachie or hillsborough.Where to live if one spouse works in Waco, TX and the other in Irving, TX?
My husband and I tried this a few years ago and it did not work out well. The connecting highway is constantly under construction and there are a ton of wrecks that can stall the traffic for miles.
We finally re-located to the Waco area where the cost of living is much lower and the pace much slower than the Metroplex.
We have several friends that split time between the two locations. However, they have their primary home in the Waco area and a small apartment in the Metroplex area.
It is cheaper than driving back and forth everyday.
However, Waxahachie would be the best mid-point.
Check out opportunities in Dallas. AT%26amp;T is re-locating their Corp HQ there from San Antonio. Frito-Lay, JC Penney as well as a host of other major employers have a great presence in the Metroplex.
Wow...that's gonna be one hell of a commute! Not sure there really is much of a middle ground there. Maybe something like Alvarado or Mansfield south of Ft. Worth....but either way someone is gonna be doing ALOT of driving.
Anything in between is gonna be VERY RURAL so just be sure you are willing to live in the middle of nowhere if you want to try and do that.

What to do when you spouse says ';no more children';?
We've been married 4yrs and have one child who is 6mths. My husband comes from a family of 6 an i come from a family of 3. My family is very close and all of my cousins and my sister have 2 or more children. I want more than one child but my husband is not happy with that idea and is actually refusing to go through the motions again.
I know our son is only 6mths and I'm not trying to have babies back to back, but i dont want him to be an only child.
What do i do?What to do when you spouse says ';no more children';?
6 months is still young, and probably your husband is just not ready ';right now'; to consider having more. You are just comig out of the sleepless nights stage, feeding is still an ordeal, and the baby is just starting to get around and be personable. We have 5 children, and after we had our twins (nos. 2 and 3- they are almost 6 now) my husband said the same thing. Until they were almost 2 he really resisted the idea that we should have more. Once they were a little bigger, easier to handle, had more personality, and started playing more with him, he was more open to the idea. I would suggest that you not push your husband at this point as it may just cement the ';no'; response into his head. In a year or so, he will probably change his mind. When our twins were 2.5 years old we had another baby, then almost 2 years later we had one more. I think for guys, it is hard to see past the ';infant'; stage and into the fun part of having little people around. And even though he has siblings, etc., he may not have had experience with babies and could still be uncertain about his own abilities as a new dad. Give it some time and then talk about it again in a few (like 6-9) months. Good luck! What to do when you spouse says ';no more children';?
Please wait for some time. What do you mean by ';refusing to go through the motions';? Are you not aware of birth control methods?
If he is unwilling then there may be a reason. Try to find out why he is unwilling to have more children. May be he is not ready to take the responsibility or he feels that money may be a constraint. You can explain your views after a couple of years and maybe he will be more receptive. He may be missing you because of the baby. Spend more time with him too.
You should not have children if the father is not ready to take responsibility. Please do not force him. Your son can feel at home with his cousins.
Give him sometime and some room to breath, and do not push him. Your child is only 6 months, I would not talk about another one until this one is at least 2 , he might come around, or else be happy raising one child
This should've been resolved before marriage, but the other answers make it simple: 1) stop having kids; 2) have kids with someone else......or 3) birth control ';oops';
Only two choices:
1.) Stop breeding with him.
2.) Breed with someone else.glitter eyeshadow la mer

What is the average percentage taken for child support from leading income spouse in California?
Example: Father makes most of the income $120,000 and Mother makes $28,000 how much should father have to pay in child support? Father only has 8% custody. What is the average percentage taken for child support from leading income spouse in California?

He is a doctor out here making 133K/yr and he pays 2700.00/month in child support even though the childs mother is an RN and I know those chics make atleast 50K/yr. I hope I am not scaring you...my husbands daughter is 12yrs old so maybe it might be different for you but good luck, and I hope I didnt scare you...What is the average percentage taken for child support from leading income spouse in California?
since you are making $92,000 a year more than her, and she has primary, figure that you will pay about 17% of 92 grand per year.

What is your course of action, if you find out that your spouse is dying and didn't tell you upon finding out?
The spouse probably just wanted things to go on as normal as possible for as long as possible, without having to discuss with his/her spouse dying and having the spouse feel sad and sorry for them. What is your course of action, if you find out that your spouse is dying and didn't tell you upon finding out?
Be sympathetic and ask yourself what you would have done if the shoe was on the other foot. Maybe your spouse needed time to learn how to deal with the news themselves and wanted to be able to tell you without crying and scaring you to death. What could be more personal than finding out that you are dying. We all know that we will die someday, but we are so shocked when we find out it's NOW, and not later.
Maybe they were in denial. Some things just don't seem real until we say it out loud. Once, we've said the words out loud, there is no going back and pretending that everything is just fine.
Maybe they just wanted things to remain the same for a little while longer. After all, once this news is out, no day will ever go by without this news being the 800 pound gorilla in the room. Each time you do something together, the joy of the moment will be overshadowed by the knowledge that this could be the last time that you both will ever enjoy this moment together.
And you wonder why your spouse didn't tell you sooner?
Your next course of action will to support your spouse in every way, to let them know that you will be there with them no matter what. Ask them how they are feeling and let them talk. This is not about you. It's not your time to fall apart, you must stay strong for them, and make every day the best that you can. Savor and treasure every happy moment that you have left. Take lots of pictures, talk into the wee hours of the night, laugh and reminisce, and make the most of whatever good days that they have left with you.
When they are ready to talk about it, find out what their final wishes are and how they want things handled for their final resting place.
In the meantime, if they are still feeling good enough, take the trip of a lifetime, do something that they always dreamed of, make memories for you to hang on to, and know that they went Home as they lived on Earth- full of life, love, and joy. This part is about you, as well as it is for them.
Counseling could be helpful for both of you.
Be sure to forgive them for not telling you, you need this more than they do. May God bless you both. What is your course of action, if you find out that your spouse is dying and didn't tell you upon finding out?
That's a rather vague question. Perhaps they wanted to confirm the diagnosis, were in denial, or didn't want to put you through excessive worry. Imagine if it were you. I would want to talk with them to find out. Getting upset with them doesn't change the situation because they are all valid reasons. Focus on them and what they're going through instead of meeting your needs for closure.
Maybe your spouse wanted to protect you from the pain of knowing. Go on as normal because if this is true then you would have found out eventually anyway. A lot of people facing terminal illness do this as they are in fear of their partner leaving the rather than facing the future.
Live every moment like it's their last...
Think about it. If you knew, what would you do? Would you want everyone to feel sorry for you or to be real?
I feel for you. To soon lose your spouse. But, if you knew that you didn't have much time would you want there to be anything but genuine people around you? Including yourself?
wow this is kinda obvious be sad but not mad because obviously she/he is protecting you for as lonbg as s/he could.........also their the ones dying so they can wait as long as they want!
Drag out that insurance policy and see if you're the beneficiary!
My course of action would be to spend every moment of time I have left loving my spouse the best I can. Why waste time being upset?
Continue loving them until the end.

How can I join my spouse in Canada?
I know a beautiful woman from Canada and we decided that we should marry soon. However, I live far away from her at the moment and still don't know how can I join her; please if u know anything about this issue don't hesitate to inform me.
thank youHow can I join my spouse in Canada?
Get in the car and go. If you want her bad enough you will make it happen. How can I join my spouse in Canada?
I wish you both the best of luck, I'm currently going through they process (I'm Canadian married to an American).
Expect to spend a lot of money and get screwed over by the government at every opportunity.
If you are truly in love with this woman, nothing will prove it like going through the arbitrary b*llsh*t that the Canadian government is going to throw at you throughout the process.
If it's any consolation, it's definately worth it!
Edit: Gollybeth got it wrong--The Canadian Embassy (Washington) will not answer any questions about permanent residency, nor will any Consolate other than the one near the border (e.g. Buffalo)--and none of them will answer questions about immigration over the phone. Your spouse is better off getting the information from within Canada.
I live in Canada but you know, I can't quite tell you what the exact laws are regarding immigration.. but i do think that if you marry someone, you're welcome to join them :)
I don't want to say too much because like i explained, I don't really know. But I do recall hearing that you can at least claim permenant residency if your spouse lives here and is a citizen.. Since you'd have to come here to marry her (?) I'm not sure what the situation is.
You'll of course need all your personal information such as passport, marriage license or intent to marry etc.. I'd hit google and then see if you can't locate maybe a Canadian embassy near your home. They should have all the answers, I would think.
Good luck and congratulations !

Which cartoon character does your spouse resemble?
I married Bobby Hill. Short, Texan, funny, short hair, blue eyes, tubby.
I noticed it one day, and wondered if there were any other people married to live cartoons...Which cartoon character does your spouse resemble?

What do you and your spouse do?
You've been married for a few years and are settled. You don't have kids yet and you two have just come home from a long day at work, you eat dinner...then what? What do you and your spouse do? Are you two couch potatoes, video/computer gamers, readers, spend the evening by yourselves or individually...etc? How do you and your spouse spend regular nights at home? What do you and your spouse do?
Well, we won't ever have children, so I can answer:
Dinner, maybe a little TV if it's something we both like (Mythbusters, Top Gear...), sometimes we do play video games (my husband has always been a gamer and also makes video games, so we like them), we like to go to the movies, sometimes we have game night with friends... all kinds of things.
And yes, we sometimes spend the evening doing things separately.
Oh, and sex:)
Our standard though is we usually end the evening with The Daily Show and Colbert Report. We love those guys:)What do you and your spouse do?
We love to go out - go for walks, work out at the gym, swim in the pool, or take the kids to the park. But it can't be that way everyday - even that would get old. We spend time together, together with friends, seperate with friends, together with family, separate with family, and by oneself. It keeps things interesting.
Before my daughter was born last month, my husband and I would always spend about 2 hours watching TV together and talking about our day. After that, I would go to the bedroom to watch TV and play on the computer by myself while he watched TV in the living room. This way, we both got couple time and personal time each evening.
Of course, now that our daughter is here, she makes the rules :-)
eat dinner, talk. go for a walk, i'll read sometimes, or talk on the phone while he watches tv, or we will watch tv together, or if we are wanting to watch different programs, i'll go into the living room and he will watch in the family room. Then, he falls asleep, and I come on here to unwind.
Depends what the weather is like.
If it's nice we take the dogs out for a walk then relax on the patio with some beers.
It it's crappy out. We are couch potatoes. We usually pop in a movie.
Work out together. Read a book, while he does his thing. Go to the store, clean up. Cuddle, make babies, kiss, talk, watch tv, sleep.
just talk, hang out and be together. its after work and thats the only time we can really be together besides the weekend. spend it together
Usually depends on the day we've had. Sometimes we'll just veg and watch tv, or go shopping, visit friends, do things around the house etc.
The we have ';dessert';.
We talk about our neighbor
Some times when hes not playing wow(world of Warcraft) we watch tv and cuddle together... go to the store
