In saudi Arabia it's ilegal to marry outide their race and religion. Say a saudi woman came to the US on a student visa, could she legally be married in a Chrisitan marriage without contacting her government or embasy for aproval? I mean would the US governemnt check into somthing like that before aproving her Spouse Visa? Can a saudi woman get a US spouse visa?
NO, the government doesn't check anything. When you go to the clerk office to get the marriage license, you fill out a form. One of the questions for both of you is ';whether the groom or bride has ever been married';. If yes, then you will have to provide the divorce papers; but if it is no, you just move to the next question.
There are some people who even lie about being never married before (like i said, they don't check), while their spouse is waiting for them in their country. [I WOULD NOT SUGGEST TO YOU TO LIE ON SUCH APPLICATION]. Below is the marriage license application online(i am in California, you will need 2 check in your state):

Good luck!
