I met her in college. We both worked at the student union, but didn't know each other then as we worked in different departments.


We met through mutual friends. She was a poli-sci major, and I was a theater major. The friend was a poli-sci/theater major.


I'd seen her around a few times, but didn't really know who she was. I was sitting at the house of yet another mutual friend, when she knocked on the door. I looked down the hall to see who it was, and told another friend that it was ';That fat bi***.'; He replied that she was a good friend of his, and that I had better watch what I said about her. Less than a month later I was engaged to her. That was 20 years ago, and we are still together.
