We have 21 goats, NO my husband has 21 goats, and he can't explain what he's going to do with them. If your spouse has a plan for the cow, maybe it's a good idea! How do you talk your spouse out of bying a cow? We have 3 monitors and 3 dogs... When is enough, enough???
You could try to get someone to offer him a magic bean instead.......How do you talk your spouse out of bying a cow? We have 3 monitors and 3 dogs... When is enough, enough???
When you run out of space and time to care for them
maybe 3 cows? seems she likes 3's so i'd be expecting 2 more. lol
Just say no
LOL... I really have no idea.
We have dozens of snakes, 6 crested geckos(and more coming tomorrow) , 13 dogs, 2 cats, 20 bearded dragons and we are getting some chameleons, too so I know how you feel.
Try talking to him about the cow. Tell him how uninterested you are and what your concerns are. Hopefully, your husband will respect your input.
Good Luck!
Well I tried, but first he wanted 5 as a hobby, then another 20 turned up, then another 75 arrived! We now have 85 cows, 20 yearlings and 60 odd calves this year, and another 20 odd due during the next month or two.
What I should of done was ask do you want your cows, or your love life to continue.

HAVE A COW, MAN
I'm trying to talk mine out of buying a llama. Good luck!
do you live in a town that will let you keep a cow ??? (if not, theres your answer..)
Do you have the money to feed a cow...clean up after a cow (they poop a lot and it SMELLS)???
Whos going to milk the cow ??? (or are you keeping it as a pet ?)
Do you have enough room for a cow ???
Whos going to groom the cow ???
hit your husband with all these questions...I bet he gives up, just to get some peace...good luck !!!
Why does he want a cow? If he does get one, make HIM milk it.
depends... how big is your apartment?
Seriously though, milk is a good reason. We moved to the country when I was a child and eventually stopped buying milk from the local farmer and bought a goat instead. If you have good fences, a goat is a good alternative to a cow - takes up less space, interacts with you more, and gives just the right amount of milk for a family of four. did you also know that you have to breed the animal every year to maintain the milk supply - so if you have to track down bulls and dispose of calves that becomes a bit of a hassle ...
Oh, and enough is enough if you can't afford to feed them, house them, care for them or have them properly treated by the vet.
Wow! The man of my dreams! I keep getting pets of many species too,but no snakes!
